H. Upmann Connossieur No. 1

The Connoisseur No. 1 is a Genios vitola, or Hermosos No. 4, that measures at 127mm with a 48 ring gauge, and finished with a triple cap.
This is only the second cigar to fall under H. Upmann’s Connoisseur Linea line, joining the Connoisseur A. To further distinguish this cigar from its siblings it displays a new band that carries the Connoisseur A name in addition to its classic red and gold design.
Medium bodied smoke came out on the first draw, with a slight aroma of wood and coffee beans. We detected some sweetness at the start with florals and vanilla initially, nutmeg, cream and some dashes of pepper were also notable as the cigar unfolded at the halfway mark. The flavours were complex and the body stayed consistent around the medium strength mark.
Overall a very interesting and unique flavour profile from this Cubano, you can expect to enjoy this smoke for just over an hour. Make sure not to puff through it too quickly and let the delicate yet complex flavours introduce themselves at their leisure.
